"Huddersfield Ben"

"Tuey" is a true "tiny" he is two and a half pounds and is four years old. He lives with his Mom and other Yorkies. Tuey is one of our very special babies.

Although the Yorkie is classed as a toy they retain the desireable traits of the terrier. The Yorkie is a happy go lucky dog with a outgoing personality. Yorkies adjust well to almost any life style, be it high energy or laid back calm and quiet. They accept most other pets though some of the larger breeds do not deal well with tiny dogs and may be a threat to any small dog. Yorkies are very social, gregarious animals that make wonderful all around pets.

Modern Yorkies tend to be well rounded animals, often found strutting their stuff in the Conformation Show Ring, retrieving dumbells in the Obedience Show Ring, or running an obsticle coarse in the Agility Show Ring, dancing with their owners in Free Style, acting as Service Dogs, showing off their tricks for audiences, playing with children, hiking with their budies, and sitting quietly in their owners lap while watchingTV. They delight the convelescent in nursing homes and hospitals, and generally are a contributing member of your family. One has even been given a hero's medals for his contributions on the battle field.
